Samsung One UI 7 Beta Update Might Launch This Week

The Samsung One UI 7 beta update is still under development but may be launched later this week. After a series of delays in recent weeks due to some issues with the build, it seems that Samsung has resolved these bugs, and a release could be imminent.

One UI 7 is based on Android 15, which Google unveiled last month. Many manufacturers have already begun rolling out the stable version of the OS, but Samsung has not yet initiated the beta preview, although that could change this week.

According to reports from ICE Universe, the One UI 7 beta update is expected to take about two more weeks before it’s officially released. This update was initially expected earlier in the month, but if the timeline holds, we might see the first phase of the rollout very soon. Samsung has already created sub-forums, hinting that the update is nearing its release.

A newer build of the One UI 7 beta update, ending in XJW, is rumored to be rich in features and more flexible than previous developer versions. It is said to be superior to the earlier beta releases.

What’s causing the delays with the One UI 7 beta update?

If the update is released this month, it will mark the first time Samsung launches a new beta version of One UI in November. The delays are likely due to issues the company had to address, especially since the upcoming OS is expected to introduce significant user-facing changes.

We are hopeful that Samsung will release the beta build before the end of the year, as they’ve already confirmed a stable release for early 2025. Be sure to follow us on social media to stay updated on when the rollout begins.

Currently, China, Germany, India, South Korea, the UK, and the USA are confirmed to participate in the One UI 7 beta preview. The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy A35, and Galaxy A55 are all expected to receive the update when it officially rolls out.
