SAN FRANCISCO – Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, announced that his space company will attempt to launch the starship rocket system next month or in March 2023. He disclosed the plan via a tweet over the weekend.
“If the remaining tests go well, we will attempt a starship launch next month,” wrote Musk, responding to a user’s tweet about the starship.
According to Reuters, the second richest person in the world said in January that there were “concrete steps” to launch the starship at the end of February 2023. Therefore, he added that the launch effort in March is likely to be realized. SpaceX has launched its massive starship rocket into orbit for the first time last year. It was an important demonstration flight aimed at flying NASA astronauts to the moon.
