Google Pixel 9a: Latest Leak Unveils Expected Launch Price and Full Specifications

The Google Pixel 9a is anticipated to launch within a year of the Pixel 8a (currently $499 on Amazon), with rumors pointing to several notable upgrades.

Most significantly, the Pixel A series may see a screen size increase from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches, aligning the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9a in terms of overall dimensions.

While the Pixel 9a is expected to sport a 120 Hz AMOLED display, it lacks the LTPO backplane that allows true variable refresh rates and will instead be limited to switching between 120 Hz and 60 Hz.

Battery capacity could also see a 13% boost, reaching over 5,000 mAh. Charging speeds, however, may remain capped at 7.5 W wirelessly and 18 W through a wired connection.

The Pixel 9a is likely to run on Google’s Tensor G4 chip, complemented by 8 GB of RAM and storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB.

Camera improvements include a new 48 MP primary sensor, while the 13 MP ultra-wide and front cameras are expected to remain the same as those on the Pixel 8a.

The Pixel 9a is rumored to launch in March 2025, priced at $499, matching the Pixel 8a’s price.
