Unveiling the Exynos 2500 Configuration

While the launch of the Exynos 2400 is still pending, intriguing leaks have surfaced regarding the Exynos 2500. These revelations come from a well-known figure on the X platform, going by the username @OreXda, and provide valuable insights into the potential makeup of this upcoming Exynos processor.

Several months ago, @OreXda posted on the X platform, initially suggesting that the Exynos 2500 would feature an 8-core CPU. However, subsequent updates have brought forth a more ambitious vision, indicating that the Exynos 2500 is poised to embrace a robust 10-core configuration. A recent update offers an even fresher perspective: the previous notion of 4 Cortex X5 cores has evolved into a single Cortex X5 core. This adjustment could be a response to concerns related to overheating, a challenge that has affected processors such as the Dimensity 9300, which initially employed 4 Cortex X4 cores as its primary processing units.

According to the latest reports, the Exynos 2500 will be anchored by a single Cortex X5 as the prime core. This will be complemented by a suite of 5 Cortex A730 cores, with three of them boasting higher clock speeds and two operating at lower speeds. Furthermore, there will be 4 Cortex A520 cores dedicated to efficiency.

Manufactured with cutting-edge 3nm fabrication technology, the Exynos 2500 will be produced by Samsung itself. This formidable processor is anticipated to make its debut in the Galaxy S25 Series, slated for an early 2025 release. Once it enters the market, it will find itself in competition with the successors to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the Dimensity 9300. The tech community eagerly anticipates the unfolding dynamics of this forthcoming showdown.
