Realme is reportedly gearing up to unveil its latest smartphone, the Realme GT 7 Pro. This device is anticipated to be among the first to utilize Qualcomm’s newest chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The launch is expected to take place at the end of this month in China, with a global release to follow shortly after.
Is the Realme GT 7 Pro Ready for a Global Launch?
According to reports from Gizmochina, a device with the model number RMX5011 has surfaced in Thailand’s NBTC certification. While no specific launch date for the Realme GT 7 Pro has been indicated in this certification, it confirms that the new smartphone will soon be available in the global market.
Internally, this smartphone will feature Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Previous leaks from AnTuTu have shown benchmark scores exceeding 3 million points for this device. It will be paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and will be powered by a substantial 6500 mAh battery.
As for additional specifications, the Realme GT 7 Pro is said to sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Notably, this display will include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, marking it as Realme’s first smartphone to incorporate this technology.
Regarding its camera setup, the GT 7 Pro is expected to feature a 32 MP front-facing camera, a 50 MP primary camera with a LYT-700 sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50 MP LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera.
