The highly anticipated *Gundam Metaverse 3rd Limited Time Open* event kicks off on Thursday, December 5, 2024, offering fans of the iconic Gundam series and virtual singer Hatsune Miku an unforgettable experience.
This event is part of the larger GUNDAM METAVERSE PROJECT, which invites fans to help shape the future of the Gundam universe alongside Bandai Namco.
Building on feedback from previous events, the Gundam Metaverse has undergone significant updates.
This time, fans can enjoy a more immersive experience, including a main lobby resembling a space colony, a digital exhibit showcasing award-winning GUNPLA creations from the *GUNPLA BUILDERS WORLD CUP*, as well as new features like live performances, a virtual shop, and the ability to scan GUNPLA models for interactive content.
The metaverse space is easily accessible via computer, allowing anyone to join from the comfort of their PC.
Hatsune Miku Joins Gundam for a Metaverse Live Performance!
One of the major highlights of this edition is a special collaboration celebrating Gundam’s 45th anniversary. For the first time ever, Gundam will team up with the globally renowned virtual singer, Hatsune Miku, for an exclusive *Metaverse Live Performance*.
The character illustration for the event’s main visual was designed by Mai Okuma, featuring Hatsune Miku in a special outfit inspired by Mobile Suit Gundam uniforms. This live performance is free for all participants, making it a must-see event for both Gundam and Miku fans.
In addition to the live concert, exclusive avatar items and original products will be available to participants. The Metaverse Project also promises future developments in music, product design, and live performances, bringing in talented creators to deliver fresh, exciting content.
