NBA 2K25 has unveiled a new and futuristic game mode called Gravity Ball. This fast-paced multiplayer online mode transports players into a low-gravity environment and is available as an add-on for $8.
As the latest installment in the NBA 2K series, NBA 2K25 enhances the basketball experience with several improvements, including a revamped dribbling system, improved graphics, and a completely redesigned central hub known as The City.
In addition to the classic basketball modes, NBA 2K25 introduces several new options, such as Proving Grounds, where players can compete in 1V1, 2V2, 3V3, or 5V5 formats. Now, a more futuristic and thrilling mode has been added—Gravity Ball.
Gravity Ball is part of The City and offers both 3V3 and 5V5 matchups. In this high-speed, low-gravity mode, players must navigate through the arena, collecting balls to score. Available for $8 on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and PC, this mode promises a unique experience.

Fans of the 2K franchise are excited about this new addition, especially after some felt the game lacked new features. Gravity Ball introduces a chaotic and intense twist, placing players in a gravity-defying arena filled with power-ups. These boosts enhance the excitement by giving players the chance to score more points and speed across the court.
Currently, Gravity Ball is available only for Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and PC. While not available for all versions of the game, NBA 2K25 still offers a wide range of game modes, many of which have received updates in this latest release.
