The wait is almost over for PC gamers, as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is finally set to arrive on their platform of choice. Sony Interactive Entertainment, alongside Insomniac Games and Nixxes Software, has officially announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store on January 30, 2025.
However, it’s important to note that the company has confirmed there will be no additional story content for this release. So, if you’ve already played the PS5 version, the story content will remain the same.
In this game, Peter Parker and Miles Morales, both playable Spider-Men, once again face a major threat from Venom and a new symbiote menace. Players will explore a larger Marvel’s New York, with new areas like Brooklyn and Queens added, including iconic locations such as Coney Island.
In addition to taking on Venom, you’ll also battle other iconic villains like Kraven the Hunter and the Lizard. The game also features a variety of accessibility options, ensuring that more players can enjoy the experience without limitations.
Unfortunately, there are no specific details yet on what exclusive PC features might be included. However, gamers can expect support for AMD FSR, NVIDIA DLSS, advanced DualSense capabilities, ultrawide support, and other enhancements similar to those featured in the previously released Marvel’s Spider-Man game. Pre-orders are now available with various bonuses for early buyers.
