Today, Yostar announced that the narrative-driven RPG *Heaven Burns Red*, developed in collaboration with WRIGHT FLYER STUDIOS and VISUAL ARTS/Key, is now available for pre-registration. Players can sign up on the App Store and Google Play to embark on an emotional journey filled with thrilling action.
Heaven Burns Red is the result of a collaboration between legendary creator Jun Maeda—known for classic works such as Air, Clannad, Little Busters!, and Angel Beats!—and Wright Flyer Studios, the team behind Another Eden and Afterlost. As Maeda’s first project in 15 years, the game follows a group of girls who carry humanity’s last hope in a fight for survival.
Storyline and Gameplay
The world of *Heaven Burns Red* is under attack by mysterious creatures called “Cancer,” which have pushed humanity to the brink of extinction. Despite using their most powerful weapons, humans have been forced to retreat after every attempt has failed.
With over half of the Earth’s surface lost, humanity’s last hope lies in a new weapon called the “Seraph.” The girls at the heart of this story are tasked with wielding these Seraphim in a desperate bid to save the world.
Players will take on the role of Ruka Kayamori, a former vocalist and guitarist of the legendary band “She Is Legend.” The game introduces a daily system where players follow Ruka’s journey, meet new characters, and participate in monthly events offering unique side stories.
*Heaven Burns Red* features turn-based combat, where players can form teams of six girls from a roster of 48 characters to battle against the Cancer. The game also includes a fully voiced narrative in the style of a visual novel, delivering an emotionally charged experience.
Pre-Registration Rewards
To celebrate the pre-registration, Yostar has announced milestone rewards that will unlock based on the number of players who sign up. The more players that pre-register, the better the rewards will be upon the game’s launch. Players can pre-register through the official website and choose their preferred platform (PC/iOS/Android).
