Razer Blade 16 and Blade 18 gaming laptops will be available starting tomorrow.

You can expect to have access to the RTX 4090 graphics and 13th-gen Core, if you have the financial means.

Razer’s largest Blade gaming laptops, the Blade 16 and Blade 18, are set to launch tomorrow, February 8th. The 16-inch model starts at $2,700, while the 18-inch model begins at $2,900. However, only high-end configurations with RTX 4080 or 4090 graphics are releasing this week, starting at $3,600 ($3,800 for the 18-inch model). Models with RTX 4060 or 4070 GPUs will become available on February 22nd.

Blade 16 and Blade 18 both have their own distinctive features. The Blade 16 boasts a dual-mode mini-LED display that can switch between a 4K 120Hz media-friendly display and a gaming-optimized FHD+ (1,920 x 1,200) 240Hz image. The Blade 18, on the other hand, is a large desktop replacement with a six-speaker spatial audio system. Both laptops feature 13th-gen Intel Core i9 HX processors and powerful RTX 40 series mobile graphics with a peak of 175W for the RTX 4080 and 4090. Although gaming on battery might not be an option, these laptops offer an alternative to buying a tower PC for demanding games.

Razer is updating its Synapse software to support CPU overclocking on the Blade 16 and Blade 18 laptops. The software will allow users to adjust core voltage, boost power wattage, and boost time. Although the overclocking results may not be as significant as with a desktop PC, the update can potentially increase the frames per second for an improved gaming experience.
